Nobody wants to play 45/45?

Hello everyone!

For a couple of moths now, I am on a losing streak. Altough I practice a lot everyday (mostly Tactics, but I also use the Chesstigers Book of Jusupov) I seem to be losing every game of chess I play.

Now, it has been pointed out to me, that I don't play as often, as I should. All practice seems to be meaningless, when you don't play actual games of chess.

So that's why I registered here. In order to play chess as much as I like. But somehow nobody wants to play me. And those who do, leave the game shortly after the first moves are played. Sometimes they even leave immediatly!

Can anyone tell me, what the problem might be?

Most folks just don't have the time for slow chess.  There are several groups devoted to slow chess and they have regularly scheduled tournaments.  Probably your best bet to find a game.  Try this:

And there's a spinoff of this group too:

Sorry, I can't think of the name of it off the top of my head...Embarassed

And of course there's always correspondence chess (called "online" here).  It has no time pressure (3 days per move, although most move much quicker) and it's an "open book" game where you can use books, videos, and most databases to help get you into a playable middlegame.
