Obvious cheaters aren't being detected and banned?

I reported a super obvious cheater last night, the kind that there isn't even the shadow of the doubt he is a cheater, but still - that person's account is still there and nothing.
Maybe I'm too impatient expecting him to be banned after less than a day, but I'm just used to cheaters being banned real quick in the other site.
Does someone up there takes care of the reports about cheaters?

If you report someone and the account doesn't get closed then either

• The report hasn't been seen yet
• The checks were not conclusive
• The checks didn't show any evidence of a violation
