Was it arrogant of him to expect me to grant him a draw? Or was I a jerk for not believing him? Are we entitled to relief from our misclicks?

How is he being arrogant he probably just wanted a draw because he missclicked unless he spammed I don't see an issue :/ its more arrogant to complain about it and act intitled to a resignation so the answer is it depends but most of the time no

Eh? No-one wants a resignation. Just play the game and win after your opponent's blunder or mistake. It's silly to want a draw.

Thats true I never offer a draw however if my opponent offers one I will accept it if I'm losing

I checked his king then was about to take his hanging bishop. Was the obvious plan. He had blocked with his queen. Misclicked and hung my queen. He refused to give me a draw. I get it. I’m not entitled to a draw but out of curtesy I think you should. Draw isn’t give him -1 or anything so who cares.

Yeah, I’ve had stuff happen like that a couple of times. One time I was getting ready to take his rook with my rook and I ended up one square short. So he took it. It was obviously a miss click. But I guess I didn’t ask for a draw. Stupidity he can’t be rewarded I suppose.

I just had one of these: I had a one move checkmate and I let go of my trackpad at the wrong square and I lost my queen and the game. There are so many toxic players on this website and its just annoying by this point.

Not arrogant. He was just trying it on.

You're saying you're toxic for thinking he should have offered a draw?

Misclicks are part of the game, don't accept draw

You’re part of the problem. Some small misclick doesn’t matter. But a blatant hang on a winning position? Are you kidding me? I’d accept that draw. Rather win like a man than just by some lame misclick

If I misclick I just move on

If I can't get back to the rating I had, that's my problem
