The little gold star one serves me well - it lets me play in more than 1 tournament at once and get 25 tactics things a day. Plus it looks pretty. And no ads....best of all.

To some extent, I like the limit of 25 tactic exercises a day, instead of unlimited, since I think I work better with a specific regimen. Is that your experience also? And, yep, I think a star next to may name may look nice, too :{]
Aye, I find 25 per day of tactics is, as you say, a good number to be working with. I do not do them every day but I try to. Any more than that in one day and I am not sure it would be doing me any good. It is like a small workout.

You can just pay 15$ for a month and see if you like it. Not to say that you have access to ALL the videos and ALL chessmentor lessons, even if you payed for only one month.
Improvement comes in years.
Thanks everyone who gave me some advise regarding my investment into a paid membership. I had decided to do it, at the basic level, but yesterday something happened, here in Georgia, that requires me to redirect my funds. So, my chess study will have to wait a few more weeks.

I can reference from kaskus.us forum. I try to list the first free conditions on the same day I was immediately attracted to become a premium member. My first list of gold for a while then I list a diamond with monthly payments and also on the same day.
