This usually happens right after they blunder and I get their queen. It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough that I actually feel like I need to complain about it.
I play 10 minute games so I usually resign when this happens. I'm not going to stare at a static chess board for 7 minutes just so I can, what? Get ten points or something?
I'm a very low ranking player, too. I'm not even good at chess. I don't know how common this is amongst higher ranked players. I'd imagine it's a lot less of an issue, though. Which I find HILARIOUS! I can't believe someone with a rank of 400 or so would actually employ such a tactic.
I'd like to know something, too. Usually when this happens, I resign after a couple minutes of nothing going on. And a message appears "so and so may have violated our fair play policy they might have their account restricted." Or something along those lines. Do people actually look into that stuff?
