It is not beyond the realm of possibility some opponents may draw or win and Reb would lose ratings points.

maybe and i am not suggesting this, but a good player may assist the beginner, which obviuosly is not a good thing.
Ok, a couple updates:
1) Now open to under 1300 instead of under 1200.
2) All games will be unrated as some people pointed out.
3) Reb will have white in all games, so when the time comes to issue your challenge to him, please select black as your color.

I am interested in playing against Reb and I qualify, rating wise. I can't afford to become a full-time premium member right now, but I might be able to come up with $4.99 for a one month subscription. Would this qualify me? Also, are Masters are going to be doing simuls more often? This would be a feature that would entice me to become a premium member.
Yes, a one-month membership would qualify you. Will we do simuls more often? Yes, insofar as we have never had them before. But how often is a bit hard to say at this point. It is a couple steps away in my agenda.
