Play vs. Computer - Can you make it crash?

I need your help! We want to make "Play vs. Computer" better, but we need crash logs in order to do it! :)

It might be hard to make it crash.

hmmm. A computer considers every single possible move before moving. In order to make it crash. A position would have to be created that is beyond its capabilities and crashes as a result. One such position could be the King vs Knight and Bishop endgame. This is close to impossible in blitz and quick games against a computer. It is possible in long games. I will try anyway  

I dont have a crash yet but I have I a bug. (i know there is a bug report form but this is on topic). I tried to play vs computer in a tactics trainer situation but it didn't start on the tactics trainer situation. It started in a normal start stituation.

Erik, it was 0068410.I tried it again and now it worked so maybe the bug is fixed already.

That easy, why need the javaconsole, just do what I did, dropped it off from the roof of my house !   

just want to confirm what a crash is.  is this the computer going into an endless "computer thinking" loop or is this something else?  I have experianced three types of error/crashes so far; the endless thinking, pieces becoming diassociated from the board, and the computer thinking the king is in check when he is not.  Which would you like the logs from?

Wow this is 5 years ago, i hope someone is still checking on this page. About the crashing thing, well it happened to me. I played against the computer on lv 5 and suddenly somewhere around the fiftheenth move it crashed, instead of noting down the a move the computer said (null) and seconds later i was trown out of the application(i play on my ipad) i reopened and i could still play against other people but as soon as i said play againt computer is crashed. Id really like to have this bug fixed cause now there is now way i can play against the computer.
