poor sportsmanship on here

maybe it's just me but some people have poor sportsmanship and can't accept a loss, the other day I was two moves away from checkmate and my opponent resigned and abandoned the game entirely. I feel like people can't lose gracefully and only care about their rating and win, loss record.

Whether they resigned or abandoned doesn't improve their win loss record. Both count as a loss, the same as checkmate.
