yes ! letters still exist ! and they are wonderful ! as for stamp collection, it is still valid . I know people who still do this and they are quite proud of their collection.
if it's your hobby and makes you happy, why not continue ?
my hobby is chess, so I can't help you with stamps, unless you want a Romanian stamp 
yes, that would be nice. if it is a special one too, because I told you I got a friend who collects them . And to make it really worth it to you, you will get 2 stamps in one shot : the one inside and the one stuck on the envelope !!

In this day of e-mail, I wonder if anybody writes letters anymore. And with that, I wonder just how obsolete postage stamps are, and with that, how obsolete is the practice of collecting postage stamps. But just tonight I found another member, besides myself, who collects stamps, so it seemed fair to raise the issue, and see if there might be any interest in some kind of stamp exchange. With so many nations represented, it could be fun for those of us who do collect...
