You did nothing wrong. No one is required to accept a draw. I may have accepted it if I was playing against someone I know. Your opponent was just mad because they hung their queen and decided to take it out on you by letting the clock run out.
Question about draw offer etiquette

My opponent just hung his queen, offered a draw, called me an idiot, and let the clock run out. I just want to ask if I did anything to make him mad by breaking some rule of etiquette I didn't know about. The draw offer was on his time, not mine, and I let the clock run for a while before declining the offer because, first of all, I'm very new to blitz and I didn't notice the offer right away and, secondly, once I noticed the offer I wanted to see if there was any conceivable reason I should accept it. Nope, he just plain hung his queen. Just wondering if I unknowingly provoked him by doing something unsportsmanlike or if he was trolling because he lost the game.
