Does he have an account too? If so you can try opening up two internet tabs and playing that way.

One solution:
Download Winboard ( http://www.chess.com/download/view/winboard-427 )
It's a small program. Once it's installed, a dialogue box but will appear when it loads, click on "just view, edit, game files". Then a board will appear. You can adjust the size/ flip it/ whatever. Go to "mode" and make sure "edit game" is checked. Then you can play as if that's a real board.

im sorry to post a thread about this but is there anyway i can play someone acctually sitting next to me? im at a friends and we dont have a board :-( if no, does anyone know a website where i could do this ?
