Sorry to sound stupid, but are you sure that it's your move in any games?
I sort of had the same problem, except I think it was just that the icon was in a different place than I was used to. That might be the problem. Sorry if I'm no help at all.

Here's a screenshot, as you can see it's my move in a couple games, but the icon that is usually at the left of my name is gone :(

If it helps, all of these games were in-progress when the server went down for the upgrades. Perhaps the people who have icons have started new games since then?

It sounds like it's event driven: it get's triggered when a move is made in any game. It probably doesn't check your ongoing games every time you load a page.

I'm not sure I understand, it's always displayed if it was my move in any of my ongoing games. At least until the upgrades.

what browser? can you try clearing cache? try doing ctrl-r to do a hard refresh of the content/css/images.

I did a full browser data reset. I use chromium, but I've also tried Firefox 3.1
Since the upgrade I haven't been getting this icon in the upper right by my name.
I use this all the time to quickly get to my games. Was this removed or am I missing something?
It may sound stupid but this was a pretty great feature!
