I quit Chess.com several years ago over the site's policy refusing to block the orc flag (which I'm glad to see has been reversed). I played on other sites during that time. On those sites, my blitz and bullet ratings there were c1800 and 2000 respectively. Here, I can't make it out of the 1400s. The two main differences I notice is that players in the 1400-1500 range here simply don't make silly mistakes like they do on other sites, and most of them play endgame like they're Stockfish. There can't be that wide a gap between the quality of the players here and on other sites. It didn't used to be like this on Chess.com either; 1400s played like FIDE 1400s (making mistakes, especially in endgame.) So what's going on?
Different sites have different player pools and different starting rating. Both of those impact ratings. For example, on other popular site tends to have ratings 200-300 higher than here.
