Lets pack up the van. We're going to Vulcan for the funeral.Cry

TheGrobe

I'll be there within the hour.

Crazychessplaya

Warp seven.

winerkleiner

The evils of Cigarettes took him I'm afraid.

DrSpudnik

Those things are no good. I've seen too many older relatives suffer from the effects of years of smoking, getting worse and worse as they got older.

Crazychessplaya

Not exactly an appropriate comment for the topic, but you have a point there, Huey.

Kronsteeen

I think the Hue'ster was totally spot on and appropiate.

REMEMBERRRRRRR Bwa Nahhhhh!

Kronsteeen

His.... Wast da most humanananmm

Crazychessplaya

All right, we get the point. Now be quiet.

Kronsteeen

I am reminded of a great 1st season? Episode, "Devil in the Dark", whereby Leonard does the best mind meld ever with a giant tortoise with a missing piece of shell.

Smoke 'em if ya got 'em Lenny. Semper fi.

Yes! Exactly! You find a single glove in the snow thinking it serves no purpose, yet it does!

It's nice when someone makes a good point and other people get it.  But what about "getting To the point?"  That can be hard, especially when it's not really clear what the point is .. or used to be ... or should be.

Which raises the question:  When a forum drifts too far, does it reach a point of no return?  Sorry, I'm not sure what point I've been trying to make here.... I feel like Tom Swifty.   ("My pencil broke and now I can't write," mused Tom pointlessly.)

motherinlaw

Excellent point!

TheGrobe

Sometimes these forums are like incontinence.

DrSpudnik

Lots of spatter.

Bronco

And lots of flushes

TheGrobe

Not enough flushes.

Kronsteeen

Colloquially expressed. But those are essentially the facts.

"Colloquially."  What a lovely word!  We don't get to hear it much nowadays, more's the pity.  Is there a noun -- "colloquiacality?"  Undecided There should be.
