I understand your point, especially the one about "digesting" a game. Even though in principle I don't have anything against rematches, I don't really feel it's optimal to just jump into a rematch two seconds after the last match ended.
Rematches

When I'm playing blitz, it's never just 1 game. Like an addiction it lasts for hours. The shorter the time between games the better, so I like it when I can find a person who will keep rematching with me for 20 or so games.
That said I don't hold it against anyone for not accepting a rematch. I very rarely offer it myself actually, unless it seems we're really evenly matched and they have an interesting style.
All this to say, don't feel bad for not accepting. I think most people don't care of you decline. They probably don't want to wait, or wanted to try a different opening against you or something.

Yeah, never just one game. It's 4:00 am here, I have two essays to write for tommorrow that I haven't started, and I'm playing blitz
Most people are fine if you decline. The only place I object to my opponent declining is if they've just insulted me or my chess skills. It was only one blitz game they're talking about, and they're too scared to play another one but they're still going to talk smack. I get so annoyed when this happens, but that's the way of the world.

one of my frnd frm india was playing bulet against a pakistani. And rematches give my friend 61-59 win against rival

Usually when I go in to play live chess, I only want to play a few games. Just about everyone I play will then offer a rematch, which I will accept. But then after a few games I kind of want to get back to whatever I need to be doing and I never know when to reject their offer. I don't want to do it when I lose because I don't want to look like I'm scared and don't like them winning, and I don't want to do it when I win because that looks like I'm running while I'm ahead. lol
But what really annoyed me was when I was playing this one person. I had played maybe 15 games with him already and was in the middle of another when one of my friends got on and sent me a challenge. So I resigned from the game and accepted my friend's challenge. The guy then sent me a rematch challenge (which was expected since he didn't know the reason for my resign and had been rematching all the other times) so I clicked decline. But then he offered it again, and again, and again, and I eventually stopped clicking decline since I was playing a 1 minute game. But he continued to challenge me throughout the entire game and into the second game with my friend. Thankfully he eventually stopped but needless to say, I was pretty distracted by that and played horribly.
Is it just me who hates rematches (whether I have won, lost or drawn)? Nothing on this site winds me up more than when the game has only just finished and, within a second, my opponent clicks for a rematch. And I find it bizarre when people often seem to criticise others for not accepting a rematch. Immediately after a game, I always like to digest it properly before playing again.
