Replacing Nadia - how to do?

Recently Nadia seemed to replace a guy they had as the chess personna that they previously used to review games.  Is there anyway to replace her personna with a different one.  Her voice is incredibly, incredibly grating.  I have been just turning the sound off and reading instead.  I can’t believe anyone actually picked this voice and people actually thought - yes this is a good one - let’s go with that one.  Is there a setting somewhere where different person as can be used?

Yes this works - thanks. Don’t know why mine changed when I never changed it originally.

I think some coaches were removed so it may have changed in that case

Ok. I knew it was too good to be true. How do I 'save' this change so it is persistent. The very next time I logged in she was back again. I normally log into my web browser, then I logout of chess.com and when my browser closes it deletes all my history (including cookies). So how do I make my 'settings' persistent - i.e. how do I save them without them being reverted back?

I like Nadia - but some people don't. I guess there's no pleasing everybody.

She has a charming voice and is funny witty and warm. She has a sound knowledge of chess, or is meant to, and can give you a dressing down if you cross the line and drop a Queen etc.

I'm glad she is not a bot, but a human pretending to be an AI voice. What will they think of next. Lol.

This is where it gets interesting. Her voice does not sound AI at all like an AI. And it's clear that at times she add-libs. Her voice is not the irritating mad-American, of today but that of an old-England middle-class school teacher or Liberian.

You need a coach engaging in chess assisting you with the capability of being able to speak naturally unaffected beautiful English.

A probverb she often imparts is: " Patience is a superpower in chess." How true.

I've learned a lot from dear Nadia on Chess.com. You need humour, combined with serious analytical probbing.

I often play with her - l will rephrase that. I often play chess with Nadia the coach. Her voice over is very helpful and instructive. And it begs the question: can she play chess? And if so what is her rating?

Without Nadia Chess.com would have a gapping hole in it. I am 71 and have played chess all my life off and on but really more off.

I am rated 15. My highest Rapid rating is 397. I'm still locked in the darn 300's. Rating now is a lousy 315.

Cheating does go on in Chess.com. But it is not by the company, it is the unscrupulous players. Chess.com recently awarded me 10 points which were stolen from me by these miscreants.

To return to Nadia. They should refresh her dialogue and commentaries. Otherwise Nadia is great.

Keep lovely Nadia.
