Reporting users

Recently I was playing against someone (username: ramesh56) and at the end (I won), he wrote a few very offensive words (his opinions about my mother, for example). While this does not affect me at all, I think we cannot tolerate such behaviour on chess.com (if only because there are many children here). So my point is, we should be able to report such users. I think they should be banned immediately.

Please can we have a "report user" for inappropriate behaviour?

Like above, user remesh56 started typing abusive comments before the game even started. His profile page has page upon page of people experiencing the same behaviour. WHY IS HE NOT BANNED??!?!?

Well you can report or block members

you have been a member for more than a year and still don't know you could!?

Anyways, you either disable chat (if he starts to type offensive words in the chat in a live or online game), or go to your privacy settings and block him. Or, since he has been doing this for a lot of times, you can report him on here http://support.chess.com/Tickets/Submit/RenderForm/20

There's a Help & Support button at the bottom of every page but here's a link if you want to report this matter directly..

The 11th. category down is the one you want  :)

Thanks everyone for answers.

KenGeneQ - yes, I didn't know I could report users, because I didn't need to do so before. I knew I could block, but that's not my point, since that doesn't solve the problem.

Is he banned from chess.com yet?

chessdex

Send a ticket. It happens all the time. He might be banned already from live chess
