For those with the issue, do you have Confirm draw/resign turned on in settings? For the resign option work if you turn it off?
resign button not working
Same issue. Any solutions?
Found out there was a code change and the only supported browser are a minimum of the following.
Chrome (Chromium) : 119
Edge : 119
Firefox : 128
Safari : 17
So updating your browser is one option, if possible. The other is to disable the Confirm draw/resign option in settings.
Well thanks for looking and finding out. However despite repeated requests to update the browser to the most recent - which it is Firefox 115.34esr, with a Windows 8 PC, and no I am most certainly not updating that, I like Windows 8 compared to everything subsequent.
I'll have a go at the disable thing. Thanks again
Dan
So, disabling the resign confirmation - does NOT work
I’ve seen some other members mention that it didn’t work. For others, it does. Did you click Save after making the change?

Not sure if this is related but now when I hit resign the confirmation has been moved to the top left of the screen.
Its annoying. I click the bottom right - its been moved lower now that chat is no longer on the screen - and then its way at the top. Good design would have the confirmation nearer the link where you first clicked it like it was before.

There is an update coming on Monday to address the positioning of the pop-up
why would you resign. It is just saying "I give up you win" I have had so many losing positions where most would resign but since nobody is perfect, I either won or drew. Also, my words being underlined has nothing to do with anything.

Fantastic, it worked. Thank you so much. I mainly play bots so I do like the resign button when I can't be arsed to continue

Because it's my choice. I mainly play bots and want to resign when I don't want to see a game through

To be precisely speaking I feel that resigning the game is better with ppl more than 1300 elo or in a completely losing position, other than those positions I fell like not to resign and I even did a comebacklot of times and won them
