There is no "russian" or "anglo-saxon" way in Chess... and in Life. There is only one normal human way for all nationalities.

Russian language is awfully difficult for foreigners. Even expats, who live in Moscow many years, don't learn russian language well.
As for russian classical literature... It has been translated into english since long ago. Russian classical literature... Pushkin, Lermontov, Chehov, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Gogol... compositors Chaikovsky and Shostokovich... they belong to all people on the Planet.
