Is this really the last day of V2?

i go on in short bursts but untimately end up back here. Im a creature of habit. As far as im concerned it was more fun when they had meebo in here years ago. Most of the nebies wouldnt rmember that. It was nice to talk to people in real time.

I Remember when Live Chess Chat was where all the action was, then people starting making groups...

True. It was so different back then and in some ways better. I think V3 will be fine once we all get used to it. I just loved to get creative in here in a way i dont think is possible there but i suspend judgement.

Thanks piperose. I was uninformed. someone today in one of my groups told me it was going to be today.

Heather_Stephens

I'll say that it isn't so.

But it's time to change.

No problem. I think they have V2-V3 transition group.

Organized by JD Cannon (staff)...I think?

You know, for a Singaporean, president_max seems to know a lot about our culture, and I like Hall & Oates too, but the origin of "Say it ain't so" is much older than that; it goes back to 1919 when Shoeless Joe Jackson and his Chicago Black Sox threw the World Series.  I'm not aware of any catchy songs ever written about that.

Ill stick with V2 until the bitter end, it took me long enought to understand that.

Ive never been clear on why V3 was necessary, its not so long ago that record decks were all going to be replaced by CD players. I kept my Linn deck , and now discs are making a comeback, which isnt surprising as the sound is so much better.

 Say it isn't so ... a romantic comedy 2001.

Boy falls in love with girl. ...blah blah blah
