scared to play anyone

Hey, I just found this site about a week ago. I have been playing chess off and on for years, including on chess live (if anyone has heard of it). I call myself an intermediate player, and have been beating the computer on level 5 for a little while. The thing is, I am scared to play anyone live...sometimes, I make blunders, on black's long moves, you know what I'm talking about...like when the queen or bishop comes out of nowhere, and swoops down across the board and takes my queen or rook, or worse. I don't know what to do; I'm getting sort of tired of playing against a cpu.

Use the tactics trainer. It will help you learn to recognize hanging pieces.
