I have been restricted due to not following sportsmanship policy, but i didnt even do anything, i just play. I play fair, i do not talk rudely or anything, but still got restricted. Can someone explain why exactly?

We don't know.  We weren't there.

You are the first to come here and ask that I have seen.

You just joined last Saturday.  It looks like almost all your games are slow paced rapid games.

I see at least two and possibly three disconnects out of your first 19 games.

I did not disconnect from any game

I resign only if it is 100% loss, just like others do
Stardaun
Some games were aborted

Probably last guy reported me for me playing extra safely, he got mad and reported me for nothing

I dont see other reasons

Your game against andrei11022013 was abandoned. So was your game against AWSmith61.

LOOK at the Info page of those two games... it specifically says "Game Abandoned".

These might have been just internet failures, but there's no way for the chess.com server to know whether you've lost your internet connection or have rage-quit. It is programmed to assume that you are rage-quitting if it happens too many times within a certain period.

I suggest you write to support@chess.com and ask.

It restricted me after a draw, because the guy was doing the same thing over and over and it automatically finished as draw

So i have no idea why i got pooped by this game

That might just have been when the restriction ticket was processed.

It might have been issued much earlier.

if the site can’t maintain a proper connection for you and disconnects, you get accused of abandoning and get labeled a bad sport. the site is unimpeachable.

Basment-Kitteh

fair play..... hahahaha.

Hmm, you have played no games and just joined two days ago.

So you either were previously banned or you have no experience of the site.

I see nothing wrong with the site attempting to encourage sportsmanship.  On the other hand, I do understand that some people have bad wifi connections and are at the mercy of their isp.

so i was either previously banned, eh. such a compliment from a nice guy. ever heard of voluntarily closing an account ? too much to ask you to put some thought into your posts ? not to worry, i can see they are completely left brained.

Well if it had been voluntarily closed, you could have voluntarily reopened it.

At any rate, let's stick to the subject.  The sportsmanship ratings are new.   I think that an email to support@chess.com might help the original poster find out what happened.

You don't troll anybody by having a fast connection... do you even realize how ludicrous that sounds?
