Stay off of LICHESS, they are Anti-American

(Don't know if this is a violation to your posting rules) Hope it's not 

Lichess a French based Chess server ... On their general forum .. They have been promoting Anti-American rhetoric.

Did a little science experiment... After seeing all the Anti-American posts.. I decided to see what would happen if I posted pro American articles, being very careful, with total non engagement to the vitriolic rants that soon followed ... after several threads created ... with a plethora of anti-American rants towards me and America... with no response on my part, I.e. no engagement by me...

They shadow banned me. 

Not cool

The short of it.... Americans have never cared what another American's political leaning is when it comes being an American...!! Period!

I love my country.. I love my fellow Americans even if they don't see eye to eye with me politically.. But Outsiders, foreigners dissing on my country and on fellow Americans...

NOPE! Not going there...

If you are reading this and you are from another country... picture yourself in a room filled with people who do nothing but talk bad about your country... Get it now?

To slander America, to shadow ban anyone who objects to the Anti-American rhetoric... Is wrong...

LiChess allows it... (because they agree with the Anti-American stances seen on the platform) Chess.com doesn't allow political content of that nature... for the very reason that set me off... CHESS shouldn't be political!

I call on you to join me in boycotting Lichess, maybe a reduction in their membership and a loss in any advertisement revenue that they contrive from that membership roll... Will make them ban political posts of all kinds, let alone the Anti-American propaganda that is getting posted up their forum on a daily bases.

Without going too political (which is really difficult given some of the language OP is using), I'll just say many people around the world have some very good reasons to be upset at the usa right now. Not saying that makes it right to generalize and stereotype all Americans (any group of people for that matter), but you have to be willing to empathize and understand with other countries frustration.

I use lichess. I am happy with it. They are French. they are fine.

lichess is an excellent site, with a smooth, easy to use interface. I like it very much

Yeah, Lichess is the only reason we free accounts are alive . They have a large puzzle collection (millions compared to chess.com's 1000 or so, as well as free to use) and a better game UI with a bigger clock and a board that can be resized very well, unlike here where u get tiny clocks and non-resizable boards. And I like their moderate approach towards politics. Trump is really disturbing the world order, as well as the environment.

EDIT: But that doesn't mean I'm trying to berate chess.com. I actually like this site too, they have exclusive features which are not there in Lichess (Here 0.1 sec cut per premove is enforced, which prevents too fast and unfair play + better cheat detection methods).

Political neutrality benefits those creating injustice. Our government is putting people in concentration camps for being gay. Per international law, a declaration of war against the united states would be justified. Complaining about America is not the least bit over the top as a response.

In many ways I love my country, it's my home, it's where my friends and family are, and I do believe its stated values are a great ideal and at our best times we very occasionally live up to them, but we often very much do not.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, I was a little uncomfortable with the ire pointed at the Russian people, rather than Putin and his administration. I hope we are afforded the same understanding, that the american people are going to be the administration's primary target, he wants us isolated, our economy crashed, because that's how people like this stay in power, but disrespect for the United States as an institution is clearly justified.
