Stop locking forums.

It's really hard to have a Discussion, DAVID, when you go and LOCK all the forums for rebuttal and response. I suppose you, Tyler, and others have been instructed to put a damper any & all nay-sayers in this site now.
As for the behavior of the Android App - I am 100% correct. The v3 app you've designed is a handheld cheating utility now. You cannot deny it. You cannot simply say, "well, we didn't see it, so it must not exist, case closed, locking forum" and walk away.
I would take screen shots to prove you wrong, but I cannot. I also cannot show you the flagrant bug that is still quite evident in the App. Its now appeared in two different versions on two different devices of the v3 App. Your Android Development Team is defficient and sub-par if they cannot see this.
Either you cannot handle criticisms or you are attempting to cover up ineptitude on your development team's part.

As we've said elsewhere, we encourage and welcome feedback
However, we request that it be sent to the proper place. In V3, we have two tools that send reports to our feature tracking system - "Report a Bug" and "Make a Suggestion"...
Also, the discussion can be continued in Chess.com V2 where the discussions aren't locked.. Thanks ![]()
Can't report a bug on the Android App, Sir.
However, I did make a report on it months ago, in the Chess.com V2 group, as well. Under certain conditions, the App permits illegal moves & situations; though the chess.com server does not accept them, the App still carries on like nothing is awry.

Under settings, there should be a report. Otherwise the best way to ENSURE we get a report is email us - support@chess.com with screenshots and a recap of the issue and where it can be found.
Thanks -
What Exactly is the reason to stop the discussion on the topic Express if you like or not like the new version of the site, dear Tyler?
Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I'm inferring that they don't want discussion or bug reports in the main forum, and that's why your thread got locked.
Forums are social fields. When a person has chosen a particular tribune, he probably has not found another one to which he can be heard.
My question was not asked to you, you would not have to take responsibility for answering it. You burden yourself with someone else's responsibility.

I've reported the issue twice in two forums. One now locked because of the current effort by STAFF to purge any / all opposition to v3. The other in the group you wanted me to post such in. I'm not going to bother to watch a video and attempt to try it a third time FOR YOUR SAKE.
You guys are handling this in the same manner as the Kremlin. At least in a Forum, Off -Site as it were
, we all had a chance to speak rather openly about issues. You're creating quite the debacle now of Customer Management and Software Roll-out... failing quite handily at both, I might add. I know why Erik finally gave the directive, why he sent his minions to do the job for him.
Logic has Left the Building for good, apparently.
Then last week some 1400 uscf 1100 blitz kid played perfect rapid game against me. 0 inaccuracies, 0 blunders, 0 mistakes, average centipawm loss 0.04. Gary Kasparov would be proud.
I raise the issue, first in years and bam, thread locked. Now i am just waiting for official reply and if they tell me 1400 uscf kids play grandmaster chess i leave this for good, and will tell everyone this site is in decline. Speaking of which, locking threads is a pretty big red flag that intersts of community are not priority here.

Formal request to STAFF
Stop locking forums, particularly the "Off Topic" forums---the only place we have to properly vent our frustrations with the site and the site's developers / development.
If you don't like the direction the discussion is headed, change your development plans..!! It's not our fault you've sent the site headed down this rabbit hole.
Stop locking forums. Stifling discontent and ending unpleasant commentary from your constituents doesn't make the situation better.

It's feedback from members like yourself that help us improve! :)

Could have sworn you were looking forward to feedback... And that's precisely what you were getting in the https://www.chess.com/forum/view/suggestions/express-if-you-like-or-do-not-like-the-new-version-of-the-site Forum until you guys LOCKED it.
