Do you mean personal shirts for your self or as a Chess.com product?
Either way I like the 1. e4 and the grandmaster one.
I was thinking of having a shirt made for myself that says 1. e4 c5

I'm not an active part of the community, so I'm I know I won't be the first on any tshirt list. However:
"Yes, it DOES mean I am smarter than you..."
That's pretty awesome.

I misread the first sentence. I thought you said Chess shirts instead of Chess.com shirts.
I agree with Andy. The white shirt with a green Chess.com logo sounds quite intriguing. As does the option of the other shirts.
Here are my favorite sayings:
Chessplayers make better mates.
Check this out.
On Golden Pawn.
I am not a rook.
J'Adoube.
No Pawn Intended.
Shake and Mate.
You've Got Mate.
Check on Board
I'd have to agree with the chess.com logo on a white shirt. Logo on the front, some sort of saying on the back, along the shoulders would be nice, but the basic logo and shirt I think would do.
Of course, having the base logo without tagline on the front and "Play. Learn. Share." on the back might work (having stuff on the back always makes people get curious about what's on the front of my shirts)
Any chance of polos at some point in the future as well, with the logo embroidered on the breast? (no breast pockets please).
That's right, I like to geek out in style (and it may look good at tournaments to have nice polo shirts sporting the site's logo).
While a "pick your favorite chess player" pic for the shirts would be pretty neat, we'd be infringing on the likeness rights of that person, and using only one master for the shirt may grumpify (I'll have to Merriam-Webster that term later...I like it...) people who may not like that chess player for different reasons.
Good idea though
Back to my polos...include a name option to have embroidered with it. Logo on one side, personalized name on the other. I'd personally have;
"David Wilt
Nyarlathotep@Chess.com"
We could start plowing through the old logos too to see if there were some variations we'd like to use as the back-of-the-t-shirt pics. There were so many great ones that I loved, I'd hate to see them go to waste.
I'm thinking of having some Chess.com t-shirts printed. What kinds of saying do you think would be cool to have on them? A few I have heard or have thought of:
"1. e4"
"Don't bother me - I'm a grandmaster in training."
"Yes, it DOES mean I am smarter than you..."
