Perhaps we can do an optional button, that disables itself after your clock goes below a set amount of time (set by the user).

A mandatory button is an extraordinarily bad idea- most of the bullet/blitz community would hate it.

The confirm functionality is already an optional feature, if you play bullet on desktop, just disable it , the problem is that it does not work on the web version meh

Why don’t they provide move confirmation for chess puzzles? I have neurological disorder that can make selecting the proper square difficult at times?

Great idea, especially since it already exists on mobile. On laptop trackpads especially, it is too easy to move to the wrong square by accident. It is no fun losing a game due to a bad move you didn't even intend to make!

The option would be optional for people who don't like it. I can't understand the rationale that this option helps some people visualize their move, therefore it counts as cheating. That would give you a much smaller advantage than the one gained by people whose opponent misclicks!

And if that is the reason, then we need to remove it for mobile, because as it stands now, only some people have the advantage and others don't.

It should be the same for every platform. If every one has the option to confirm their move, then all will be fair.
