I ask because it's very frustrating to receive +3 for a complex puzzle just to lose 3x th h s t amount for nearly EVERY puzzle I miss...

Please educate me on the reasoning behind HOW the puzzles are 1) weighted for points -+/- and 2). what factors go into deciding the time allotted to each puzzle.
