I agree with you Narz. The points system needs to be updated. How about 2 points per won game to the team that won overall and 1/2 point per won game to the team that lost overall? That would be slightly fairer IMHO.

To start, there's a slight formating error on this page). It talks about thematic tournaments under the Vote Chess heading (and vote chess below it, no heading). It's a small error & shouldn't take more than 180 seconds or so to correct.
Also, switching the subject over to Team Match Chess, I'm still a bit confused by the scoring. The losing team gets 0 points correct? (no matter how close the match was?) I have seen a team with 0% wins that nonetheless has points though. How is that explained? (oh, nm, must have been a drawn match, right?)
Also, the winning team gets 5 points per player regardless of whether that player won or lost? I think if the winning team gets all the points they should only get points for the number of winning games. A team with 50 players that won 26 to 24 will go up by 250 whereas a small team that goes 6-0 only gets 30. Definite bias towards large teams (which will dominate the charts no matter what). Just a nitpick about the scoring system which, IMO, needs improvement (for team matches anyway).
Cheers!
