They are refering to Anand's 8...Bd7 as "old school"...played by Korchnoi before.

ok ok...we have enough links now Smile...

Gelfand might be putting himself into possible time trouble in the end game.

trysts

Gelfand has used close to an hour on the first 13 moves, while Anand has used 5 minutes!

jesterville

For th first time in the this Match Boris has walked into Anand's preparation...stunning.

1shtar

hes got a bottleneck.. no options.

Limpet

I don´t get it ... why does the official site lag so far behind the events? We see them make a move, but the diagram doesn´t change for ages, and the commentators ignore it! Chessdom is much better, thanks trysts!

Wink

jesterville

...yes, the official site ignores the present action too much...

All_ways_winner

Gelfand is way behind by 50 Min. I hope Vishy won't accept draw at least this time when he has time advantage.

trysts

I'm sorry, but white seems to have a better position. I closed the houdini analysis for this game, so I could be way offLaughing

jesterville

Anand is playing fast to take advantage of Gelfand's mounting time trouble...it is strategic and deliberate by the Champion.

jesterville

There is now a greater chance for Gelfand to play inaccurate because of his increasing time stress...Anand needs to increase the preasure now.
