Haha, I wish that's how it worked, I'd be a much more positive person ![]()
Don't worry, most people don't read the words carefully, they just respond to the sentiment... and you already got feedback from someone like that i.e. @lorax told you "I totally agree." Agree with what exactly I'm sure he doesn't know, but the vibe of helping others and being humble sounded nice, so he threw a thumbs up your way.
And my vibe of disagreeing got me a thumbs down from you... thumbs down for what exactly I'm sure you don't know, but it was disagreeable so frowny face for me... sheesh I'm being negative again aren't I...

I don't understand why certain people crave fame or attention. What good does it do?
People don't choose what they crave... ok maybe your point is more along the lines of "for those that crave attention keep this in mind" but the phrasing you used makes me want to point this out.
The best thing you can do is just aim to be kind to people, be yourself and try your best. Always try and be better than yesterday. Fame and popularity doesn't really achieve much.
Doesn't achieve much... other than endless money and endless friends... lol.
If anything it has the opposite effect. Just look at all the celebrities who have to hide from the public and just wished they were normal people.
Most celebrities don't hide and... "if anything it has the opposite effect" isn't a particularly meaningful statement because it's not clear what the effect is opposite of... opposite of "achieving much" ?
(I know what you're trying to get at... more on that below)
My advice to people is to not try and be popular and instead be helpful and insightful.
Celebrities are mostly meaningless people, so it's worth asking about the sociology / psychology behind them... i.e. exploring the idea that we create them, they don't create themselves... but ok, I know the point you're getting at, which I talk about next.
Being humble goes a long way!
A long way towards... what? Wealth and a successful career?
You're dancing around the idea of self esteem. You probably mean to say that kids who feel empty and want tiktok views (or similar) wont find self fulfillment via a bunch of stranger's eyeballs. Fulfillment comes from the inside, from things like being your best self and helping others.
Your sentiment is mostly useful for children. If I had to guess, the OP is older than you though and this topic isn't about celebrating batgirl or andy, it's more a lament that they're gone / remembering the good ol' days / mocking the current topics which celebrate accounts that are significantly more transient.
Okay awesome, now please try again but this time only positive feedback
