The new live chess SOUND

I'm used to the old sound, how can i get it back?

Unfortunately thats not possible.

I like most of the new sounds but the clattering at the start+end of game is annoying. I would like to see that removed in the future. Also the new castling sound, its ok but a bit strange and would prefer something more normal.

the sounds are irritating,  distracting and break concentration..........it wasn't broke so why mess with it ?        Please return to previous alert sounds.

yup...very weird sounds....especially the castling one (?)...that rasping sound it makes in the beginning scared the hell outta me (had the volume turned way up )

The sound at the beginning and at the end of a game is not acceptable, the other sounds are actually quite ok.

Yes it's a weird sound to use, like crumpling paper.

How about the ability to set up custom sounds?

It's just a sound though. If I don't like it I will press mute. Just a sound weird selection, I don't see the issue with the old sound. However you can not stop progress.

Sounds like Yahtzee or something when starting a new game. I liked the old sounds.

The sounds make no sense and are annoying.  So, when a game begins or ends by checkmate it sounds like paper being balled up or a crunchy bug being squashed.  I see no reason why they would choose to put these new sounds.  The are irritating.

old sounds > new sounds

Chess.com is my favourite chess playing website but those new live chess sounds definitely need some altering: distracting and inapropriate. Tone them down please. Or at least implement a level of customization beyond on or off.

Frequently I don't hear any sound. What is the reason for it?

I also found the sounds strange. Too much treble...Dunno... For me the Playchess server has the best sounds IMHO.

So we can have all of these comments / feedback / suggestions in the same place, if you have any input, can you post it here please

The new starting and ending sounds for live chess sounds like wet farts. I'm really not trying to be obscene or offensive, thats actually what first came to mind for me and my friends when we first heard them.

The rest of the sounds are all OK.
