Grab a book.
Too many crybabies in Chess

As sheriff Teasle said: "Well, we all appreciate your concern Colonel, I will try to be extra careful!"

When people are losing, they simply sit there, letting the clock run. They don't resign.
Did they TELL YOU that was their reasoning? Otherwise, you do not know. They may be really working through the game trying to find a way to turn it around. I liked response of 'grab a book' along with other suggestions. You also might try messaging them and pointing out the Resign button. It isn't large and obvious and they may not know about it.
In all, if this is your only complaint in life, you are one lucky block indeed!!

Rage bait used to be believable
Yeah that has happened for me too! Its because they "resign" by doing ThAt, cuz they want us to resign because of us to get no entartainment so WE resign! But dont

Yes, clock-sitters and game abandoners abound. Good news is there is always something interesting online.

For those who are those clock sitters I want them to know this - Just resign because either way you're going to lose and it's not the end of the world. There are hundreds of thousands of more games ahead of you.
Whoever done clock sitting in 1 game before put an emoji on this comment!

Not sure how you meant that - I'll take it a something positive since that's how I meant my message originally.

Report them and move on. While you wait, you can wash the dishes, stop using chess as a way to avoid responsibilities at work or school and get to work, find a classic book, or even play a videogame. Just check the game every few minutes in case they play a move with 5 seconds left and hope that you walked away.
