Trophies we can ALL aspire to

Why do so many great postings in the Forums go unacknowledged? We have trophies for chess games. Do not some forum contributions deserve recognition too? I propose a set of awards along the lines of:

Groundhog Day / Dead Horse Trophy - best attempt to resussitate a done-to-death topic

Fine Whine Trophy - most persistent, trivial or misplaced attempt to set the record straight

There must be loads of things we can celebrate! I would like to nominate miwala's contribution#2 in http://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-players/posting-the-obvious for the Mot Juste Trophy.

Back on the board: are we able to award trophies to ourselves?

I would like to see trophies linked to particular games - and to specific moves within a particular game. That way, when I awarded myself the Stupidest Move of the Day award, I could remind myself about the level of stupidity and/or incompetence I would have to achieve to exceed my current level.

Perhaps such trophies lean a little bit too much towards the negative, would be seen as subjective and would unduly penalise newer members.

Stupidest Move of the Day trophy could be one of those 'only award it to yourself' category. As yoshtodd so aptly expressed it in http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/breaking-a-losing-streak:

"One thing that helps me is to try and treat both losses and wins equally as learning experiences."

Remind anyone of Kipling?
