un-Report Someone - Chess Forums

I'm new to this app and as far as I know, I've never reported anyone.

Today I was accused of reporting someone to whom I lost fair and square. I don't remember reporting them and have no reason to do so.

If I did accidentally, then i'd like to un-repoet them or fix the situation if I can.

Even if you report someone, that report is anonymous. So, if someone accused you of doing so, they are just guessing.

Yeah, everything comes down to validation with cheat-reports, i guess that wont be a problem Enjoy the site! @tmryan

I reported my sister and don't knowhow to un report her. Does anybody know how to do that?

There is no reason to un-report somebody. You will never be penalized or rewarded for reporting. If you realize your report was inaccurate, the member you reported will not receive any punishment. And if the member you reported was a friend, you probably wouldn't be very likely to report them.

From what I've heard, it takes 3 reports in one day or 7 in a week to get your reports to the staff...

i was trying to play bug house and the people that i was playing with kept resigning for no reason

Don't worry about it. The site will look at it and if there are no problems, nothing will happen.
