un-Report Someone

tmryan
I'm new to this app and as far as I know, I've never reported anyone.

Today I was accused of reporting someone to whom I lost fair and square. I don't remember reporting them and have no reason to do so.

If I did accidentally, then i'd like to un-repoet them or fix the situation if I can.

Its OK......we've got the guilty party......he was already on triple secret probation.angry.png  We WILL need a copy of the "un-report" form.....in triplicate for our hysterical.....I mean historical records.

Even if you report someone, that report is anonymous. So, if someone accused you of doing so, they are just guessing.

The bunny lost his poet's license once for a bad limerick.  He was repoeted after promising to perform only rap.

ghost_of_pushwood

I'd've surely blackballed that.

I've never seen a thread about unreporting. Somebody might wanna screenshot this for historical reasons.

Heck, everybody is just wanting to report somebody.

reported

RedGirlZ

Martin gave u the basic answer, it's impossible for anyone to know, so don't worry if someone accuses u of reporting. It's not against the rules so it doesn't matter.

To answer more directly, there's never been an "unreporting" option on chess.com, and there currently isn't one that I'm aware of, so once you do report someone, thats it you've sent that report, no going back.

DamonevicSmithlov

We should play a prank on chess.com but we'd need thousands to participate. Just start reporting everybody for everything.

A misspelling... reported.

Their avatar... reported.

Too much speed chess... reported.

Too much slow chess... reported.

Won't rematch... reported.

Got chat turned off... definitely reported. Oh they got it commin for that.

It'd be hilarious

Every time I get reported, THIS happens. angry.png
