Yep.

Never had a single pop-up with FF.

Gotta love people who are Bill Gates' slaves! Tongue out

For all the people complaining about this chess site...go ahead keep complaining, keep knocking the staff & Erik, and you know what will happen? One day they may just get fed up with it, pull the plug on the site and then you will have to to some other sites that are not as good &charge way more. I am glad they have a lot of patience, because as much as I love this site, I wouldn't blame them at some point if they just said to themselves "To heck with this, it's not worth the trouble". Stop complaining about the little things and enjoy the best chess site around.

Crazychessplaya

Consider it a microscopic pseudoevent in the vast universe of chess.com.

LATITUDE

Don Erik is not greedy guys.

Really, its absurd to define Don Erik like that. He brings this site alive for all of us and some guys are still complaining. Get a life and play on you little $#@!

PEACE!

Anyone who pays to not see ads is a fool. Ad blockers are free.

bronsteinitz

I find the title of this thread over the top. Unethical behaviour is something else IMHO.

I agree. There are much better reasons to pay for a membership here.

corrijean

This is a truly ancient thread. And not one that deserved reviving.

corrijean

Musacha again? How many times are you going to re-tread, anyway?

nameno1had

I use firefox as a premium member and have no ads either

DrSpudnik

In before the lock!

Bye, CorrespondencePlayer!

As a paying member I've never seen any ads pop up...or under. It would be a good idea to check your browser's privacy settings to make sure that your cache is clean. If you already had cookies from ad sites stored in your temp internet folder, this may leave the door open for such pop-up or pop-under ads to still slip through. Block the acceptance of all third-party cookies. Set to delete cache upon closing browser, and so on and so forth.

The cleaner you keep your browser, the lower your chances of getting these advertisements.

Good going, corrijean, you said something rational and it set off Constantino.

Nice going, air, you blew on Constantino. Great going, sun, you're in the sky and that annoys Constantino. Way-to-go, gravity, you made Constantino fall down.Laughing

DrSpudnik

We should all say goodbye to him before they check his IP address and figure out he's a retread and then all his posts and his account disappear. Savor the moment.
