Unfair chess.com moderators

I said in chat on chess.com/tv that the celtics suck, which is simply an opinion and my comment was removed I believe by adamredsox. Then I said the mod was being abusive and I was muted for 60 minutes. I do not think that is fair at all.. My comment shouldnt be removed in the first place, the mod said I was being mean(adamredsox) but I didnt say anything mean I just spoke my opinion.

It really is a big thing to just mute somebody for 1 hour. Im also a diamond member and it simply is not fair in the first place to use your power in that way..

Adam is a Celtics fan so you should have known better.  Now if you talked smacked about the Cavaliers...

    Are you implying that diamond members should have more privileges about "their opinion"?

you should have some statements to back up your opinions. since you mentioned it without any , the mod noticed that it would just bring even more debates and flames and instantly removed it. (maybe ?)

     EXACTLY.  Mods are people who can read threads before they are written   Its like being a spotter in NASCAR!

Anyway, on topic, at least "discussion of moderation" can happen here. There are some forums that dont allow such discussions and can result in further penalties! lol

debates lead to discussions, discussions lead to user opinions, user opinions leads to hatred from those who don't like the opinion. hatred from those who don't like the opinions leads to flaming, flaming leads to a internet war.

our moderator has single handedly prevented a war.

I was censored opening a discussion related to chess.

My post was deleted without explanation.

I jumped on this thread because it seems like a similar issue in the same forum.

It appears there is a heavy handed "moderator" here that thinks they are supreme.  This is unacceptable.

I do agree that there are some moderators here who get quite easily butthurt.

Once my comment got deleted because I said "F*ck, I horribly blundered, gg". They should loosen up or get their mod priveleges removed.
