Unwarranted Message From Game Timeout

Sort:

'Thanks for an easy win' is the sarcastic and antagonistic message I received today from an opponent in a daily game that I lost today due to timeout. I can shrug off that kind of provocation from the petulant kids that seemingly run this place but not when it's from an adult who looks about 70 years old in their profile picture and is 'retired'.

If he had bothered to take a few seconds to check he would have seen I have timed out a lot of games this weekend due to a family emergency and not being able to make any moves. Very poor behaviour from someone who is old enough to know they should not send that type offensive and unnecessary message to complete strangers simply over a game timout I could not prevent.

Snowchlobe

sounds like my granddad.

He didn't know the reasons for my losing on time and that I've had more pressing matters going on but it was as a message designed for no other reason than to make me feel bad and I despise people like that. He's drinking wine in his profile picture so that probably explains a lot.

Just block and move on. Don't let those messages get to your head and affect your play.
