Use mental floss!
"Mental floss" for good "brain hygiene?" Man, how do you come up with this stuff?

I don´t need a book about how to sleep, I have a master degree on that
12 hours nap, are not uncommon
I'm pretty medicore at most things, but I think I could be competitive in world class sleeping competitions. Any time, any where, I can sleep.
I once took a nap on the expanded metal catwalk of a drilling rig during operation. It wasn't a very long nap, and being awoken by the kick of a steel toe boot wasn't ideal, but it was worth it.
i'm with you guys. i joke that i can sleep standing up. a family trait. all four grandparents seemed surprised that, when my nieces were babies, they didn't wake up every two hours as so many babies do.
Good point, DrS. Airplanes, alas, are the Greyhounds of the 21st century. And it's just not right. Why, back in my day, we all wore our Sunday clothes -- dresses, hats, high heels, white gloves -- to take a trip on an airplane! We all dressed up, and we were all really uncomfortable, and We Liked it!
Yes, I remember flying to Berlin in 1974. We were all dressed like people going someplace important, not just a bunch of slobs in flip-flops and tank tops going to the beach or a frat party. Then came deregulation.
BTW, the fam flew Pan-Am. Speaking of obsolescence!

was the pilot frank abignale?
You guys were so right about that cruise! In fact, you don't know just how Right you accidentally stumbled into being. In January of 1980, I joined 75 other psychologists for several days of professional workshops conducted on a cruise ship in the Caribbean.
That ship Also left from New Orleans and Also had a stop in Havana, in addition to a longer stop on the Yucatan Peninsula. One big difference: the workshop ship was Russian, since American ships weren't permitted to dock in Cuba back then. Another difference: some of us got to visit a Cuban psychiatric hospital outside Havana -- fascinating!
And yes, I did love the experience, in spite of my chronic sea-sickness. My workshop was on the Rorschach, and I think it must have been years before I could administer an inkblot test without wanting to barf, at least a little. ;-)
2016 is the "Year of Shakespeare", btw.
Wow! Who did he have to mess around with to get a whole year named after him? --- 'tis a consummation devoutly to be wish'd!
