Yes, That is a very good article!
Yea it's a good article but I think I can improve on it. 
I take issue with his idea of a good games anthology, also his reliance on books for tactics training is definitely not the best.

I'm writing my own version of that article now...but its getting ridiculously long so I might just make a little blog about it.
I once read an interesting blog suggesting a generic training schedule. It would be nice if someone could suggest something along those lines.
