Was this actually the case?

At the risk of getting myself into deep doo-doo I should pehaps make a comment or two here. A problem that we are facing here in this site is a problem that democracies and indeed institutions in general stuggle with all the time. We have a site here that is run with certain rules ( eg: no politics, no religion etc ), but within those rules there is a lot of freedom of expression allowed. However rules must be enforced to prevent total bedlam and insanity ( my previous unnamed Chess site was just awful ). So on one hand if a person opens a thread that person may have to put up with some fun and games, plus sometimes some total nonesense and chalk it up as the cost of freedom. But the bottom line is the staff here will need to ban people now and then because the rules must be enforced to maitain " some " sanity here ( keeping in mind that no system is perfect ).

I don't think the staff tell people to leave the forums.
Staff doesn't "tell" people to leave the forums.
Once in a while maybe they should...give the offender or perceived offender a chance to explain or modify their behavior before they are unceremoniously banned from chess.com (which is something I've seen happen. ZAP! like a lightning bolt from the blue - though if you ask me outright bannings don't occur as often as it should).
True.

Why don't you just go ask Windows and neff in private instead of starting this completely inappropriate forum?

He was banned for inappropriate behaviour. Actually, he was just locked out of his account by Chess.com.
No, you've got it wrong, bud.
First you have to get off your high horse if you want any respect here.
