14,000 people is a low number. Probably obtained at 3am. 5-10 thousand are in blogs and forums, 1-2 thousand are in tactics trainer and Mentor, then you have groups and messages. Maybe some people logged in and the're eating.

cheating is no fun for me. in 2012 when i got my engine, i cheated for 1 day while testing it out, but since then, i cheat only when playing obvious cheaters (and many times i am too lazy to cheat and i just get beat by the cheaters), because i detest cheaters and cheating. i don't care about my rating at all. i just want a fair game. this is my garbage account. you don't think that i would post this with my main account, do you?
It is disappointing any player will cheat, but you hate cheaters and you are one! Even if I had a chess program I would NOT be tempted to cheat, I earn every rating point on my own efforts.

You needn't worry about cheaters. I've been playing chess here for six years and have faced six adversaries who had their accounts closed for cheating. It's a problem for folks who excel at this game, not bums like us.
This site is really good and i have enjoyed scratching it page to page. Members like me who can't afford a premium membership but have a zeal to understand this witty game will find alot of resources here to leap and improve. And yes tactic trainer in one, it currently offers 5 per basic members but chess.com wouldn't be losing much if they double it to '10', which will do help many to basic members like me. Anyway that was my point of view in improving the site and to attract and help more members.
