Weird/Conflicted Feeling About Chess

I don't believe I want to improve at chess (I don't like to study, watch videos etc. as I am not that into chess) but somehow I don't like losing those rating points in the rated games when I play (weird, right?).  I also don't want to play unrated games either for some reason.  I also hate that everyone plays e4 when they are white and the game turns into a Vienna game around 1200 and lower rated games...(I understand, Vienna game is an easy opening to play and whatever).  What's my problem?

Yeah that is an interesting situation. It sounds like you enjoy chess but you don't want to be that invested, which I feel makes sense to me, and plus most people don't like losing points. What confuses me is why you don't like unrated games. Is it just the fact that they are unrated? Or something about them you don't like? Like the fact that people's ratings are often inaccurate in unrated games? Or they are harder to find?

It's more like in unrated games no one plays seriously (I think, there's nothing on the line) and you can abandon the game anytime you want.

Oh, I know what you mean then with the unrated games lol. One idea: find a friend, or a couple friends maybe, at your level who can play games with you and hopefully switch up the openings a bit? Then when you don't feel in your best shape to play rated games you can try playing with friends.

Pressure is the first thing that comes to mind. Your brain translates this pressure as a threat thus causing you to be anxious and have panic attacks. The pressure comes from the urge to want to win, or not lose and feel humiliated. It could come from time and not wanting to spend too much and you have to move . https://buyozempiconlinemexico.com/

I guess you actually want to improve, else you won't feel bad losing rating points.

Oh interesting proposition -- that you might have that desire without being consciously aware lol. What do you think?

Your problem is you don’t like to play chess. Take a break.

Play the computer. No time limit, you can use the settings to get hints and takebacks, and no loss of rating if you lose.

This must be it. I think.

Maybe you like the competitive aspect of chess but don't like the institutional way of study like books or videos. You have to find other ways.

Whats so wrong about it?

Ita a bit exagerated but its his opinion

Maybe it's a cultural thing. In my culture it is very impolite to say something like "you are going to die", because it's considered something like a curse
But upon second thought I recognize it may not have carried that implication here

U r mentally soft u have inflated ego superiority complex and u cannot tolerate losses, u have to make yourself humble if u want to enjoy chess, If u continue on your path of arrogance u will end up like capablanca, dead. Because of playing a blitz game with a rabbit player

Ironic, coming from someone who doesn't know me and then spelled out what you thought about me.
