What does 'International' actually mean?

Sometimes I see 'International' as the Player's "Country" but what does it actually mean?

It basically is for members that want to use that as their country. It could be that they don't want to list their actual location or maybe they travel a lot. Or it could be for a lot of other reasons.

It also means their country's flag is banned by Chess.com, arbitrarily.
