What is the best way to report an offensive post?

The only reason why ISIS exists is that they've banned chess. So you know chess is one among the few things which keep society stable and alive.

More infantilzed adults searching for an authority figure to protect them from "hurty" words. Pathetic. Now I can see a little of how we came to live under an autocratic control system. These sheep are everywhere.

Yeah, let's all police ourselves—isn't that what the system is conditioning us to do? If I want to discuss politics that's my business and no one else's. I don't know where you people come from, or what kind of damaged sycophantic lives you've lived to turn you into the mindless authority loving drones you are, who demand always above all hierarchic systems of control and moderation. "Please, sirs, there's a scrap of freedom here, we should do something about that! Oh! he can just say whatever he likes! Oh!"

I do believe that it is this (edited lol) type of pervasive attitude that has led to the creation of groups like Isis. I don't want to go all political, but I think it's good for us to consider what our actions or inactions do for the future of people in general.  Have probably missed some great arguments to that by only reading up to you but I really think it's time for people to politely claim back civilisation or aim for the path back to civil civilisation and I think we can all have some responsibility there.

It really would be so much easier if admin had built report butttons into each post; I wouldn't mind if mine got removed for containing Isis if these others including way more horrid words that are stand alone bad could be insta-removed. Not sure why there can't be flagged words it's starting to really annoy me. Does anyone here go to IRC? I mean... it's not that hard to code.

I wonder how many minority groups the people demanding abusive free speech is some form of art belong to.

And I wonder how much money these people have, who obsess and demand the curtailment free speech and the conditionings of behavorial norms, under the blanket of the old tried and tested liberal "minorities" and "abuse" narratives. I would bet a good portion of these "hypersensitive" people belong to the wealthier middle-classes, and try to impose hierarchical power structures that serve them, into the virtual world and a means to instil behavioral self-conditioning and respect for authority.

Why is it oversensitive to try and keep or create more peace in the world lol? I have to have some exact income to do this? ¯\_(❛~❛)_/¯ Or maybe just care about people and standards ...

Why is it wrong to not want the N word blasted about in oblique insults on this site? Should I be able to say "God I hate N........s ." daily in this forum?

Why can't it just be nice here, and whatEver in the open forum?

A teacher once told me that asking heaps of why questions was immature, but .... your response has been so so visceral and passionate it seems to warrant head on questions.

Last question: do you think chess is civilised, or some kind of blood sport?

I can't be that shocked just to hear them - I just want them gone fast. I did used to be a fool anarchist myself lol. Even went to an anarcha-fem weekend camp once haha was pretty awesome actually. But yeh it's ok to think you don't need any protection, UNTIL you realise that you do actually call the police for help when people outnumber you that are trying to physically hurt you! The other sites in the world can have other problems I just want these forums to be approaching facts rather than expletivenesses. xD When you think on it insults are the last line of defence for those with no more worthwhile argument to make.

If some think ( seeing as we seem to be perpetually in the 3rd person ) that being a good global citizen is being smug, then um... yeh doesn't really seem to matter in any way lol.  Probably a first line of defence if anything, as I feel under the very mildest attack. I did however win my first game against a computer level 3 as black so THAT makes me feel smug! I got to go complicated for me:

Having never needed to report abuse myself, I looked into what I would do if I needed to do so. On my Windows 10 laptop, I clicked on the "?" in a circle at the bottom left of my screen and was sent to this page:

Clicking on "submit an Abuse Report" at the bottom of the page brought me to this page:

https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new

If I had a problem with someone being abusive to me in a post in the forums, I would use that last link and include the URL of the thread, the post #, the abusers screen name, and what I found abusive.

Yah this seems the only way so far. It's a lot of clicking around though isn't it, maybe most people are too lazy / into the Art of Free Speech

Are you asking about Australian teachers? If so not very good ones the pay is to low for anyone with brains to bother pursuing. What you should be asking is what kind of propaganda brainwashing machine runs our news ect ect

I appreciate the answer but think you missed my point.. we are probably a little in the dark in Australia. There are three sides to every story the truth lies somewhere in the middle. 

Could you imagine how many reports chess.com would get if they made it easy.. if someone is being really abusive i think that's fair to have to go through a few clicks.. otherwise i just let my thick skin handle the small stuff. Haven't found the need to report anyone yet..
