I’d make it a rule for @PianoJames to post at least once weekly.
♟️CHESS.COM FEEDBACK: What one thing would you change?
Maybe improve the mobile app, I'd say.
I know that it's hard, but thats just my wish.
Is there anything specific in the mobile app that you don't like?
When making program changes try them out for flaws.
When things aren't working have the programmer fix them.
Response time to problems should be faster not waiting three or longer to if we will go away.

I'd like to have the website's features on it.
Also for example making the texting in forums better, like being able to write in Colors, Big letters, and the other stuff, you know what i mean
For me, the number one addition would be to allow users to explore the online users opening database.
This is currently limited to master games, and from what I understand, over the board games at that.
Speaking frankly, the only reason I tend to play on the "other" site, is because I am already on it to review and study openings using their online players database. Naturally spending a lot of time on the other site makes it much easier to then jump into games.
I think chess.com opening up their openings explorer database to all online games played would be a game changer.
Right now, there's a rather fragmented approach to chess study as there's still a reason for aspiring players to hop across onto other sites to make use of all tools. Bring it all under one platform and this truly will be the one-stop shop!
Two more niche features - I'd love to be able to set up and play time-odds games (chess.com already added piece odds a while ago and time-odds would be a welcome addition as well). Another is to add a gameplay clock to the classroom feature. When working with a student, it'd be great to add a clock in order for each of us to "blitz" out a scenario under time pressure.
I definitely think a new mobile app would be nice. It kinda feels like the desktop website in a mobile wrapper instead of a native app and I definitely think reducing page clutter, making events more accessible, sometimes it’s difficult to find titled Tuesday arenas. I also think better spam controls for spectators in chat would be nice
Oh and also the ability to edit one’s own comment on the forum on mobile app 😭
make it so that there is a database for every chess.com game, irregardless of elo like the lichess database.

This would be amazing!
I would make the "medal refund".
Currently there are many new low-rated accounts playing in tournaments and "winning" them easily. Sometimes the entire top-3 (or even top-5, the maximum I saw myself) is just accounts registered 1 day ago or even 1 hour ago. When these accounts disappear for the clear reason, "their" medals get lost too.
The thing I would think about is to update the standings of a tournament when its participant gets banned and redistribute the medals among the rest of participants so that medals wont be lost.
Maybe make the background change depending on the season/holiday??
or seasonal/event themes in general? snow falling during christmas?
I'd give unlimited puzzles to free members. Maybe not puzzle battles or whatever, but the basic puzzles at least I think should not be limited.
Improve the tournament feature so that it is more interesting, it would be cool if there was a gimmick like berserk. Simuls are also something that could be cool, I like having the opportunity to have a long game with a tilted player from time to time and simuls are one of the best ways to consistently do that
If you were given a magic wand and had the power to make decisions on the direction of chess.com, whether it be adding a new feature, removing a feature, changing something you don't like or improving an already existing feature, what would it be? It could be anything! Gameplay, puzzles, tournaments, events, the community.
Your responses will pave the way for things to come in the future and the team at chess.com are very interested in your thoughts!
If you like someone's idea here, please give them an upvote or thumbs up!
