What to do with players such as this?

I don't have an idea about that.. but you are always allowed to submit a support ticket to the staff directly.

well on my computer is, fn (at bottom of keyboard) with prt sc (top right of keyboard) then open 'paint' then 'paste'

Ah. Thanks Brad.
I just wasn't sure where the print screen button was, lol. It's usually down in the bottom corner, and I found it in the top right corner on this one...

I can only see the one note now - perhaps he deleted the worst of them ? But even that is disrespectful & I wouldn't stand for it.
I don't think you need to take a screenshot, just copy & paste the note into a report to the staff. Have you looked here ?:-

This might also be useful:-

But in the end. I think the staff will advise you to block this guy on your profile. Of course if enough people report this kind of thing then they'll have to act ! Good luck.

I was referring to the abusive note he left on your homepage 'slide' but I've just looked at his (homepage) & I see exactly what you mean !
According to his details he's aged 26 (?) but behaves more like a 6-year old.
I blame the parents
But seriously, always report this kind of thing - if the staff receive enough complaints then they will have to act.

I have since submitted a support ticket, and I have screenshots of some of the notes saved in word documents on a USB. If more information is required, I have it.

I think you need to report this guy. The overwhelming majority of people on this site are very very civil. But I don't think we should simply be satisfied with blocking the abusive ones. We have to remember that there are many children on this site and that that player's conduct may put a child off chess for life. We don't want that. It's good that you're reporting him. I don't think I'll be taking a back seat about this kind of thing either.

You can always just cut and paste the relevant data without taking a screen shot, which can be a real pain using Windows' inferior Paint program. Be sure to also cut and paste the link to the page, which is really all the staff needs anyway.

@BorgQueen: It isn't really all too difficult to rig a .jpg with photoshop. I'd definetely go with the link; you never know what the good people of chess.com keep in their cache :)
@ OP: Leaving notes on the neerdowells wall makes me think of drunk sheriffs and hip held sixshooters (shooting blanks) - just leave it out and go tell the nearest grown up. And try not to worry too much about the little hickups; you're bound to run into anti social behaviour, after all, this IS the internet.
Hello,
I recently played a game of live chess against a player of similar rating to myself. This was a 15|10 standard game, and I am perfectly happy to admit that I played the game poorly, even by my already low standards. Several moves into the middlegame I decided to resign after a couple of horrific blunders. Minutes later I closed live chess and returned to my home page, only to discover that my opponent had left a couple of rude notes on my profile. Basically the notes told me that I was a bad player and that he was superior to me. I then returned to his own profile, left a couple of notes there, nothing rude but a retaliation of sorts anyway.
From there I explored some of the notes left on his profile, and discovered that other players had also had issues with this player who have been victimised by rude notes telling other players to stay away from him because he was a bad player.
I would like to know, is there something useful players like myself can do to keep players such as my new friend from ruining the site for the rest of us? I think that if such players could be removed, the site and, in particular, live chess could be enjoyed a little better by all.
Please help me out here,
