What's the main reason why you joined Chess.com?

@TumoKonnin Yes I heard many popular titled players like Gothamchess, Hikaru, and Magnus Carlsen helped grow Chess.com along with Erik and Jay.

So far, most people joined Chess.com because they want to socialise or train their chess skills to beat someone.

I joined for no reason

it feels satisfying to grow elo.

I quit drinking and suddenly found that I had a lot of time on my hands.

Because I liked it

@kingside_fianchetto I agree with you, it's very satisfying. Before when I started, it was not satisfying to me because I lost more elo than I gained.

I joined years ago because my brother-in-law wanted a game with me.

We live about a thousand km apart.

@blueemu That's pretty nice, especially since you joined so long ago and you're still sticking to Chess.com even today. You must have witnessed a lot of Chess.com's growth.

Because when I used chesskid a few years ago the server crashed and I signed up here instead.

because li chess has no integrity, refuses to hold people accountable, and is full of smurfs that have destroyed their rating system.

My friends played chess.com they should me about the game and I was interested in it. BOOM
