@j4ck4l5 That is a really interesting reason that I've been waiting for someone to say. There has been a big debate on which website is better: Chess.com or Lichess. I personally don't know because although I tried both chess websites, I can't entirely decide which is better. Anyone can type in the comments below which website they prefer better.

lichess is better for learning if you're not one for paying to use computer analysis more than once a day. Granted, chess.com has a better engine. But as mentioned before, lichess has no competitive integrity. Its just a glorified computer analysis website.

@harpvocal Yes, I also joined Chess.com and Lichess for learning and gaining experience about chess as well. It is a game of strategy and intelligence after all.
@j4ck4l5 you might be right about that, but I heard that most serious chess players use that site rather than Chess.com. But after telling me that there are a lot of cheating frauds using that website, that raises my concern.

I found other sites difficult to figure out how to do anything on: FICS and Yahoo Chess. And if you were slow to respond to someone or couldn't figure it out, people would get insulting.
then I found out I liked it, so I made a account and stuff
