Humans have probably been talking trash to each other since Caveman Times.
Not sure you can do much about it except mute them if you don't want to listen.

I agree with the OP .I when I get a chat request I decline.From experience,I found that the vast majority of the time requests were from trash talkers.It is unfortunate.

Getting a lot of it the last week, hope I haven't been put in the naughty bin.
Quite funny when they assume they've won and start with the comments, then you whoop them and they leave sharpish.
Assume I'm playing smart kids that think they're smarter than they really are?
There should be an adults only pool.

The best is when someone trash talks and you end up beating them.
I had one guy who kept telling me to resign and trash talk after I sacrificed a rook in a line against the Italian that Chigorin made famous.
I ended up checkmating him.
I sent him a message after I won and asked him "Do you still think I should resign?"

The internet is full of trash talking people, it’s just such a sad state of affairs, when you come up against these types . It’s the anonymity of the internet , that allows these weirdo’s to get away their obnoxious behaviour , and spoil things for other decent people .
