I just noticed I was part of a "wooden league" apparently on my rating for Rapid while I progress in rank based on blitz wins (this is the only type I have played on chess. com). This I am already ranked #4 in this league I would appreciate it if someone could explain why I am there and how it works...

Leagues end at 8 pm UTC every week. It shows 0 days 0 hours when there's less than an hour left, so even if there's still some time left.

That’s because it ends in minutes, but doesn’t have a display to show that. It ends in less than an hour, but nothing to show how many minutes.
My time right now is 6:39 pm UTC. However, my league time shows 0 days 0 minutes. I think this time is also affected by the daylight saving time in the USA.

Are you sure it ends at 8 pm because it says one hour left now?

Divisions reset at 12 pm Pacific (8 pm UTC).

Since California USA is more or less the last place on earth to change over, in some countries it will already be Monday... for example in Indonesia it would be early Monday morning.
So asking which of 2 days is reasonable... but you should ask Sunday or Monday

UTC: 8PM
Eastern Time: 4:00 PM
Central: 3:00 PM
Mountain Time: 2:00 PM
Pacific Time: 1:00 PM
Alaska Daylight time: 12:00 PM
Hawaii-Aleutian Daylight time: 11:00 AM
Samoa Standard Time: 9:00 AM
I'll continue editing to include every time zone, but this covers for most people.
From my understanding, the chance to move up is at the end of each week? What day and time do they restart each week to move up? I'm not entirely sure I understand the league format.
